I agree with people about better equipment not making better photographers.. I also dont like equipment snobbery... But 100% honestly because of the situations I find myself in.. Better equipment does mean better pictures... Unfortunatly most people just read the last line and jump on my back
Your original reply didnt quote or name anyone and seemed to be aimed at everyone hence my replies... in my case higher MP and ISO will be a massive difference.. a 1ds(xx?) is IMHO not much good for fast action sport because of the low frame rate...
Before anyone mentions spray and pray...Getting the pic in one shot is also a myth when if comes to sport.. the difference between a players eyes open/shut for example is mega and no amount of practice will get two players jumping for a ball the exact moment spray goes in the air and eyes are open... So a good frame rate is good without a spray and pray approach...
