just an idea
Waste of time, it's incurable![]()
There's no recovery,just a remission occasionally.
Time to buy another shed, that's what I do.Two sheds, a garage and a house full... I'm not even attempting to recover
We are planning a house extension next, then it'll be new shed timeTime to buy another shed, that's what I do.
That's what I like, forward planning. We are planning a house extension next, then it'll be new shed time
So you think about it on Tuesday contemplate it on Wednesday and buy it on Thursday. That's not much of a plan to be honest. [emoji23]
I am thinking of offering a service to help people avoide GAS. It involves sending me all the money you have left after buying food. This will be invested in some nice cameras. They will be photographed and you will be able to look at the photos every day. In Hi res for a small extra fee.
Recovering? How?!!
Steve.
I think an electric trolley is worth two shots a round! In the same way as alcoholics are never truly cured.
In my defence, my recent purchase is something I've been waiting to appear for over a year so not an impulse buy.
FWIW, I reckon every hobby attracts GAS. I also play golf (mainly for the exercise and fresh air) and have recently invested in a 2nd hand electric trolley. This won't improve my golf (it's a piece of kit, not a miracle worker!!!) but it does leave me aching far less than the pull trolley or carry bag.
My dog has a gas problem or is that something totally different?
Depends.
How many cameras does your dog have?

@twist hehe
I'm in rehab. No more gear for 6month. If I manage that. Go another 6monthsI have GAS and I love it... Youre just as bad. Parp.

Also, folks seem to mainly use one of three reasons to upgrade.
- low light photography. But when was the last time you actually saw a good low light photo? Once golden hour has gone you get better shots with a flash. Its nothing to do with sensitivity, its the quality of the light. Isn't 'low light photography' an oxymoron anyway?
- 'upgrading to full frame'. The only person upgrading here is your orthopedist and your bank manager.
- impending special event (holiday, new baby, shooting a mates wedding) - this one is my favourite. Exactly when you shouldn't be learning a new camera... you buy a new camera. Gets exponentially dumber the closer it is to the big day and if it's a preorder of a new nikon (aka quality control defect roulette)
