Is it difficult to grow naga chillis?
hmm I thought the scoville scale measures how diluted the chili must be to not seem "hot" any more.. That would make it a linear scale.

Ghost peppers are Naga ~Jolokai's.

Sharwoods are doing a Ltd edition bhut jolokia (ghost pepper) curry sauce at the minute. Tamed down slightly but still blooming hot.
My fave at the minute is an Aussie sauce... Byron bay habenero and mango sauce....mmmmm
The ghost pepper has now been surpassed by the Trinidad scorpion in the heat stakes!

....what is the point of these ThermoNuclear Sauces, beyond peeing yourself when your mate tries a tiny amount and passes out?...

duggiebee said:For some reason which is a complete mystery to me, I have gone and ordered a bottle of Dave's Insanity Ghost Pepper chilli sauce. Now, I understand that it is quite hot.
My question is, has anyone on here tried it or similar?

Anyone tried the "Saltdean Sizzler"? at Pauls Pizza? looks insane!
Seen videos of people struggling to eat one slice, but house from thechilefoundry.co.uk manages the whole thing in under 4 minutes!!!!!!

There's hot but kind of nice hot (scotch bonnet / bhut jolakai) -gets the endorphons kicking in a bit - I make homemade "boy burgers" using these....... and then there is painful insane extracts...

I doubt even the most experienced hot chilli enthusiast would class bhut jolokia as a "nice hot". Have you tried one (a whole pepper, chewed propery)?
