Any ideas please people, I wanted a hood for my EF-S 60mm macro but couldn't face Canon's exorbitant prices (I coughed up for genuine hoods for lenses I use most frequently) so I got a Chinese copy for a quarter of the price. It fits well and is solidly made but doesn't have the 'velvet' coating on the inner surface that the other hoods have, does anyone know if there is any kind of spray paint/whatever to coat the inside with. If they made the fake spray snow in black that would do a treat
I doubt that it's majorly important as the lens doesn't suffer overmuch from flare and the inner surface is pretty dull but I feel like experimenting.

PS. I did try a search but it's a pretty odd question and couldn't hit on any suitable previous threads
