Country foxes are very wary of humans, can`t imagine why........
Perhaps the town foxes are not so wary, perhaps they are getting used to being fed by people and have lost that natural suspicion of humans?
I dunno. But I do know they are carniverous predators.
Thank goodness we don't have to worry about rabies in this country.
what i can't believe is that the parents were sleeping with either a main window or door open

Bedroom window always open... fresh air is good (especially in my bedrrom)
........ I also thought Mmmmmm, yeah right! I also wonder if they had a pet dog ..... ?
ground floor though? or maybe mr fox was able to climb the wall
To be honest i find the whole thing pretty suspect

We have in the past had urban foxes dumped round here, how do I know, because I've seen it happen on early morning walks with the dogs.
They aren't equipped to survive in the wild so move into the nearest village and forage, we know they aren't our rural ones as they have absolutely no fear of humans, just look at you and carry on raiding bins etc.

A leading urban wildlife expert has told Sky News Online why he thinks a fox attacked two nine-month-old twins as they slept in their bedroom - soiled nappies.
Having dealt with both urban and rural foxes, I am not convinced by thistail"tale",
This fox is clever enough to walk in through the patio doors, then up the stairs, find
the sleeping babies and then maul them?
And an hour later stoopid enough to walk into a "live trap" ? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
And those of us of a certain age will remember the Dingo that "apparently" stole a baby.
They are however dangerous in some instances
