George just post away, l love looking at all types of photographs as it is where my inspiration comes from.Looking back at some of the recent "Excellent" postings on this thread, I can see I'll have to start using my Sony RX units again.
As I mentioned to Mike @dibbly dobbler a few day's ago, I have not posted on here for a time or two purely because I've considered my type of snapping ie Street work doesn't really fit with the general trend on this thread. But as I'm trying to break away from that genre and snap other types of material then it might be just the kick in the butt that I need to get cracking with the RX units again. I've said on many occasions that if I were forced to only keep one of my cameras then it would be my RX10m4 without a doubt.
I just need to snap a few things now that I consider are good enough to post on here.
PS, The batteries are on charge.![]()

Too kind as always GeorgeThree very nice wildlife & macro/close up style captures Mike, liking these pic's very much.
Sounds sensible George, looking after yourself has to be the top priority and in any case the RX100vi is a great camera itself! All the best, Mike.Mike @dibbly dobbler I have been playing around with my RX units but have not snapped anything that I would want to post just yet. I'm a bit like a fish out of water with them at the moment as believe it or not it's about three years since I've used them.
"At the moment I have to limit as to the weight I'm aloud to carry but as I get stronger again I'll start trying to take out the RX10M4, but in the mean time I can only manage the the RX100M6 so I'll just use the bigger unit at home"
Thanks. Yes I was chuffed with the LTT - never seen a young one before so wasn't actually sure what it was to begin with! How cute is that LTT, wonderful set Mike.
Thank you!Well done and well deserved Steve!
Another picture from Vietnam, on my Rx10iv.
I printed it on metalic paper and it looked good enough to win an award at my camera club!

She's a lucky lady George! At least you managed to get a change, I'm still stuck with my first wife.![]()

Good job Mike.I keep forgetting how good the close up ability of the RX10iv is - you can get a half decent macro just with the naked lens zoomed all the way out to 600mm equivalent then get in as close as you can (roughly 70cm working distance) which gives a magnification of just under 0.5x. I was footering around with a Raynox clipped on this morning (which I find a faff) then eventually gave up and got the below with the naked lens - ok it's not going to win any macro competitions but it's pretty decent!
