It's been well documented how useless my local courier is and I vowed never to buy from a seller using this courier ever again.
I recently bought from Amazon, but not full filled by them.
The seller uses RM. Great no problem.
I started to get "there is a problem" on the tracking site. Uh Oh! Alarm bells started to ring...
I got in about 12 noon today, and never went out the front door again, until about 19:30.
I posted earlier about how heavy the rain has been today, quite shocking at times! ..
I went out the front door at the stated time, above, and guess what was sitting dripping wet on my doorstep?
Yep, it had a Hermes sticker on it!
No knock on the door, no updated tracking, just a sorry your parcel is delayed.
That's 3 times this year, ( well almost)
1) a child's electronic toy, just before Christmas sopping wet, and a crushed box. left on the door step in the pouring rain.
Totally ruined
2) A few plants completely decimated, the box, left on the door step, (no updated tracking, and no bell rung. ) was crushed and smashed, plants out of their packaging,
lose soil in the box rather than the plants containers, despite the fact that it was very much labeled fragile.
Maybe they thought this one contained a football?
( it actually wasn't raining this time )
Having emailed the CEO at this point, It seems that Hermes don't "Recognise" fragile stickers..
Something about computers not seeing the "tape" .... OK so maybe they missed it, but I'm sure the courier isn't blind .. well maybe they are.
There is a note on the front door "if no answer please leave in / at X"
Royal mail do it every time, so I know I wrote it in English ..
3) today's parcel was "soft furnishings" the outer plastic bag type packet had a few small holes it it ...
Did they think it was a dart board? FFS!
Thankfully the inner and product retail bag was vacuumed sealed and the contents dry..
Of course the CEO yet again had an email with the benefit of my thoughts on this particular employee ..
The last time I contacted him, I was offered a £5 gesture of good will. I told him, well that is his office,
to keep it and add it to the employee training fund.
Seems that never happened either .
