Hello everyone, I plan on purchasing a new lens for wildlife, birds mainly but other larger subjects too.
I'm a Nikon user and my current biggest lens is the 70-300VR and as you can imagine that's not quite long enough for most shots.
Now I have trawled the Internet to gather the usual info regarding my potential purchase but as it will be a large sum of money I want to make the right choice .
The two lenses I have been deciding over are the 400mm f2.8VR or the 600mm f4 VR.
I forgot to mention that I'm currently on a DX format D3300.
