Boo Hoo...........................hopefully this is in the right place, and I am posting just to see if anyone has any ideas beofore I consider forking out for a new camera.
I have an EOS 300D, which I have had for at least five years now (from new).
It has been working just fine, but I took it out today to get a few shots, fired off one then the camera just gave out.
I have tried every combo of battery (all fuly charged), CF card and len that I can think of and nothing is happening
The camera also take a CR2(?) fla disc type battery that deals with the date/time etc...............if this has run out would that stop the camera from working at all?
I know this could be just the excuse I need to go out and buy a new body (fo he camera not me, lol), but if I can keep the 300D going for a bit longer that would be even better.
Thanks in advance for any input.
