I posted a thread with this title

"A few Gob shots just for fun"

And I get this response

Wasn't quite sure what to expect when I read the thread title.

Allow me to register my disappointment.

I didn't think that it was misleading or that I could be
prosecuted under the trades description act
hehehehe

The guy has posted a thread with dogs in the title
maybe I should reply with the same words :D
but thats just being sarcastic isn't it?

But I am not sarcastic :D

What's your camera bag weigh Jon?

fully laden? Around 35lb or more I reckon. Last time i weighed it it was sat at 15kg, and that was without everything packed.

Put it this way, i have to lean forward when getting up from kneeling or else it tips me over backwards

Err I think I will leave you to it Jon

I only have 4 lenses and a camera body and a flash unit. Mind you 1 lens is tha Sigma 150-500 and a 70-200 f2.8 both quite heavy lenses.

And on that happy note
I guess its past my bed time
Sleep well everyone I'm outta here

Oh no, please not the bat AGAIN! :gag:

He nicked it off Ingrid

:D

Erm 'Scuse me I think you'll find 'Twas the other way around :p

Just leave me out of this will you, specially when I'm not around you buggers :p

Mines bigger then his anyway

who was this rare breed of traders who offered good service ?

Its a company called Casemarket. They do all sorts of cases, including rifle cases (for Chris' attn)

Would definitely use them again.

Anyone know of any decent padlocks?

You can spend loads on padlocks
but is it really worth it on something thats "mobile"
unless you plan to chain it to the car (or something ?)

Not only that, but surely any padlock need be no stronger than the case hinges?

Well I have a spot around the pitch where I leave my bag and if I wander around the pitch during the game, I could be right round the other side and up the other end. But with this case it looks a bit more than my Lowepro 400. So as it's got the facility to lock it I thought I would err on the side of caution.

Yep agree with you there Jon.

I have seen some padlocks around £30-£40 :gag:. But I just want one/two that are good value, but that are not going to break open just by looking at it.

I was only asking because somebody usually say's 'I got one from whoever and its brilliant and only cost a fiver'.

Best avoid the pound shops then Martin ;)
