Polecat?
We only kill the hedgehog accidentally, we hope.Tend to agree, once you've ruled out the stuff we hunt, kill or cull there's only the hedehog left. (Talking mammals here obviously.)
Think the Nepalese have got that one sewn up...Should be something easily recognisable as typically British, how about a little fat baldy with a Beer bellyNow that sums me up perfectly

I can't believe its not buddha.
No they are not cuddly enough, ahemWhat about sheep, they seem to have a lot in common with the British public (or is it the other way round).![]()

But there again, cuddling up to a hedgehog![]()
Still rather that than a sheep.
Sheep have got freaky eyes!!![]()

Never got that close to a living sheep. Think I better change the subject, got Lamb chops tonight, with Carrot and Turnip yum
Are hedgehogs hibernating at the moment? Wonder what the chances are, of finding a hedgehog in the garden? Wonder what Hedgehog with mint sauce would be like?![]()
No problem, the chops look delicious anywayMine aren't hibernating yet....but you're not having them!!!
The Welsh have got first dibs on them....What about sheep,
Covered in clay and dropped into a fire pit, so I suspect that BBQ sauce would be better ...Wonder what Hedgehog with mint sauce would be like?![]()
Mr Cobra sir! Nicholas used a rude word!
As the end of day bell has rung and that was said outside the school gates,Mr Cobra Sir, Keith is being a right ...Politician!

Bluefaced Leicesters by Barry Smith, on FlickrProbably try the hedgehog pasties then, it's OK they are not made of hedgehog only hedgehog shaped. They are not flattened, just a pattern on the back to mimic the spinesCovered in clay and dropped into a fire pit, so I suspect that BBQ sauce would be better ...
Oh and BTW they taste like Chicken, with a hint of Rabbit.![]()
Was going to be clever, and to suggest an inanimate object, such as Modem. To signify the inventor of the internet Tim Berners Lee. English rather than British though ?Yes I think the nation was England tho rather than Britain. England have the robin, Sweaties have the Golden Eagle I believe, not sure about the taffs and micks.
Fox is a fairly common animal for the choice. Although in a vote I suspect hedgey would win.
Trades description act!Probably try the hedgehog pasties then, it's OK they are not made of hedgehog

Only if you leave the roadkill hedgehog to mature for a few days...
