Heat.

8°C now, although my ears felt frozen on my dog walk at 6am but it was well above freezing. Probably the wind chill, or more, a breeze chill today compared to recent winds..

Dry, broken cloud, glimpses of the moon as it sets, some nice colours in the sky as the sun lurks just below the horizon.

The rain quit sometime in the early hours, but the wind picked roughly the same time, it did get a tad blowy at that point.

Its currently 6oC a bit of a breeze, clear blue sky, and no rain predicted.

6-C here at 03-30 and windy but no rain.

I don't know what the temperature is now as I got the first train up to London to start shooting my next YouTube, but my wife called me and said it feels quite comfortable and sunny but very windy.

Glorious sunshine here at the moment!

People I talk to in southern France have temps in the 20s, walking about in shorts. One of them lives in a village that has had no rain for 2 years.

3oC here, a light breeze, currently no frost.

3-C here at 03-30 and up to 4-C now but feels a little colder than that, light breeze and no rain.

1°C at 06:45 this morning. Had to give the screen a gentle scrape (not plugged in overnight!) but no need for de-icer. A minute with the heater on full blast (no waiting for the thing to get up to temperature!) saw it reasonably comfortable, at which point Mrs Nod emerged to reap the benefit!!!

Its currently 4oC here and no frost, in the small hours either.
A gentle breeze and high thin cloud.
It looks like being a scorcher :D

Managed to get 3 fenceposts in but I was concerned about the postcrete, as it doesn't do well if it freezes when fresh. It's currently 7°C though, so should be fine. (y)

It's not looking like it will go below 4°C overnight. It's been a nice, dry afternoon with watery sun and not much of a breeze.

My Bold.
I got lucky with that one day. A couple of Travellers, who are actually from one of two "Traveller's'" park on the south side of the city near the river Severn and don't actually do any travelling except around the region ripping people off, called asking to clean the drive. I have no time for them and told them if I want a job doing I get someone through recommendations not someone who knocks on the door. They left not too happy judging by their body language. Two mornings later I went to my car which, was on the drive, and caught sight of a shovelful of cement under each back tyre. My next door neighbour ,who was a builder, said I was lucky that it was frosty and because of that it hadn't set.

3-C here at the moment with a clear moonlit sky, and no wind just yet.

10oC, no wind and high light cloud.

It looks like being another scorcher today, is there no let up from this dry arid region known as MK?
I'm off to seek shade before it gets any hotter.

:D

Earlier in this thred I said storms Isha and Jocelyn here in the NW were less than we had expected.

Today is a bit different.

It is very mild and we are only about 20 miles from here - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-68119951

Since early morning and especially for the last two or three hours the wind, and particularly, the gusts have been very strong; must stronger than the two named storms.

In fairness to the Met Office the southern border of the yellow wind warning area is only about a mile from here so we should expect a bit of a blow.

Here is an artistic(that is probably 'artistic' with a capital 'F') shot of the sea about half an hour ago.

Back to the fence this afternoon, now the postcrete has set for 24hrs, I screwed the fence to the posts. It was windy but nothing like the 2 storms last week, I think gusts peaked at about 45mph for us but generally, quite calm when they would subside. It went very dark at just about 4pm and I felt the first raindrops on my head. It rained quite heavily, quite quickly, just as I was putting the last screw in.

It's still breezy but nothing worrying at the moment. Raining and 9°C.

7-C here at 05-00 and up to 9-C now, drizzling with rain but no wind. Hopefully it'll brighten up a bit later as I'd like to get out for a while.

10oc here, no wind as there is quite a heavy cloud cover,
I doubt I'll need any sun screen today.

Mild and about 10 here too, quite dull right now.

The car is showing 12.5 oC
I went out without a coat, and rolled my sleeves up.
No wind and the sun is trying to break through the light cloud.
But I did buy some Calamine lotion as a precaution.
:D

Our son is in Verbier - Swiss ski resort - it's 12 degrees there and he's seen squirrels and a caterpillar today. You can ski down to the resort, but it's very icy at the bottom of the slope.

Saw a Ladybird on a Gorse bush last week. Hope it survived.

We had 19C yesterday in the Charente department. It is a bit cooler today. There have been yellow butterfies about for a few days and I saw a bee today. And I managed to get the grass cut. First chance since October. It has either been too wet or below zero.

Here is coldish, sunny but almost no wind; a great day. Spent a few hours in the garden tidying up the broken branches and twigs from the last winds; just waiting for the next storm on Wednesday.

I don't think the weather has changed at all today. Still dry, still calm, still broken cloud, 4°C.

Had 2 nice walks though, from and back to the garage, about 2.5 miles each way, lovey day for that.
