Daily hayley.price's 365's 2013

great shots again Hayley - Great job

Oh that cormorant looks almost vulture like  I love the idea and effect of looking through the glass  I love the composition of 47, but I think it would have been even better to catch that woman walking across in the middle of the path  also as an image the contrast seems pushed a little too far

Now if only they did this to the side of me rather then in front of me, would of loved a better angle on this shot but with horses thats not always what they give you aha, this is the other 2 horses in my field midnight and pip, midnight didn't like pip getting more of a fuss then him so decided to chase her off and being the only mare and the smallest in the field she's at the bottom of the ranks bless her, no horses were harmed in this photo, anyway be prepared for the horse shots to be coming up alot from here on my hours have dropped at work so now have time to bring diesel back into work, after the winter ( hours go up over the christmas period and stayed up due to staff illness and covering shifts, but i now have alot of free time most of witch is being spent at the yard bring diesel back to peek fitness.

Great shot. They are never where you want them though :)

never owned a horse that does what you want lmao, says alot for the 2 i own

1st charlie stupidly slow point and steer, walk trot and canter if your lucky
2nd stupidly dangerous, bolts bucks rears bites naps gets me kicked out of horse shows because they think he's too dangerous and hope i have life insurance

would never change them for the world :)

thanks

Good capture with the horses shot - pity as you say they were at that angle to you but still it's a bit different.

Looking forward to the horse photos coming up - I used to have a Connemara and spent all my free time at the yard - I know how much time it can take up!

Nice shot, but yep I agree they don't take direction well ;)

silly horses ahha thanks

Charlie sounds ideal to me LOL. I stopped riding about 15 years ago when the stables I rode at twice a week retired the horse I used to ride. He was a great stocky cob with a big roman nose & hogged mane, not the prettiest. But he'd been schooled amazingly well at some point and you could do a bit of dressage on him. He used to love the cross country course and would really do it on his own if you pointed him at the first jump. He did have a real tendancy to bolt though, but only in fields and only up hill. They used to put blokes on him & they thought they could stop him, but if you put any pressure on the bit he'd grab it. All you really needed to say was stop & he would. I used to ride out in the company of an 18h hunter & we used to keep up. There was really never another one that I could compare with him or trust as much.

Its still a great shot Hayley :)
