Guys, I'm excited and have to tell you!

Thanks hun

I'm desperately hoping that I'll be able to manage the little walk up and down the isle just holding onto Dad or DH, but we'll see - I've got flowers for my sticks too, cause I'll be using them at the Church LOL, but I am faaar to stubborn for my own good, so may end up using the sticks down the isle too. We'll see

We're getting married again on Tuesday ;)

I know, it's kinda scary, how it's all just come together....I've only got the organist to sort out now (been a bit of a fiasco, but pretty sure it'll all work out fine)

Got my chief bridesmaid coming tonight and just had the confetti delivered. :D

only just seen this thread
many congrats to you and Mr Mynx

had to laugh when I saw that confetti was being delivered
my mind heard the meep meep of a truck backing up to dump a ton of the stuff on your front garden!

my hands are quite pants ATM so sorry for the delay.

It was beautiful - truely a dream come true. It was all like a fairytale!

I still haven't got around to taking pics of the flowers and since there's only my bouquet left, well, that's all you guys will get to see, - sorry!

Totally overdone it (hence not being able to type) but totally worth it!

I was totally filling up when I was going down the isle! How I kept myself together I'll never know! The children were well behaved (well most of the time) and pretty much went without a hitch - despite my SIL coming in fancy dress as a bridesmaid (she got her dates mixed up you see....thought it was 31st...) and Father in law having to dash off home for a little while, so we haven't any pics of him I don't think.

Definately had one of those "I want the ground to swallow me up!" moments though - nope, I didn't say "awful" instead of "Lawful" or fall flat on my face, - or even put the ring on his right hand instead of the left - one of the kids (who was known as "cheeky boy!" for the rest of the day) asked Lee who was our togger, to take a pic with a P&S, when we were having the group shots done. Lee bless him, took it all in his stride and had the patience of a saint. - Thank you Lee, you were a total complete and utter star!

Our friends sorted out our cake and that was their gift to us. It was beautiful, 2 tier heart chocolate cake with hot pink and lime green icing, with sparkly stars made with icing and edible glitter! (No pics as yet, but someone will have one - I did take my camera but TBH, I didn't have time to breathe let alone start snapping away!)

I've watched the video about 6 times already  and all the silly little things like my underskirt being too high or DH giggling just makes me smile not cringe (which is good!)

I am completely pig headed and totally suffering ATM for pushing myself too hard but totally worth it and I wouldn't change it.

I can't wait to see the photos TBH. It truely was a magical day and I'm so glad that it was only our nearest and dearest that were there.

Allow me be the first to say congratulations then :)

an meeeeee third, great news, and i'm really pleased you had a good day :D

thanks guys *hugs*

A little funny bit for you. My cousin is 3 years old, she's spoilt rotten and typically like me, she's as mad as a hatter!

All the little bridesmaids were sat with their parents, so she'd walked down the isle and went and sat with her mam.

She's sat there, taking it all in as she does and the bidding prayers come up. Now, little miss had only ever been in a Church a couple of days before for the rehersal and after the first bidding prayer, twigging on that she is supposed to ay something, she asks her Mam what she has to say. So my aunt whispers and tells her "Lord graciously hear us" and she sits listening, getting ready to say her response. My niece, Laura reads the 2nd bidding prayer. "Lord hear us" my niece finishes, then looks at the priest for appoval that she's done well (bless her heart!). Everyone responds "Lord Graciously hear us" and little miss then shouts, "Laura hear us!"

CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!

Sounds like it was a fab day, and I can't wait to see the photos.

And that just had me in stitches !

thank you

Sarah it was so funny when my Mam was telling me. Me, being me was in my own little world, I knew one o the little un's had shouted something but hadn't caught it (you can hear it on the video though - just!) before her mam's hand went over her voice like a clamp

I did giggle a little when DH got his hands mixed up and stuff like that though. It was great.Just like a fairytale.

Only have one pic ATM and it's a bit pants, but this is it.
