Out of curiosity I have looked on the bay to see this bargain but can't find it in the completed listings
Very little of that story made any sense to me.
Thats only because I'm a bit "grey" in these areas.....
Can someone explain it in thicko's terms ?
Basically, ebay is allowing people to embed stuff in their ebay adverts which is subverting the web browsers and showing things from other sites rather than the auction that they think they are viewing.
The story says that mozilla are going to alter the firefox browser to prevent this (although it is really a web site issue).
As you can see from the pic the example they've chosen is a canon lens.
this would be consistent with the situation whereby someone thinks that they've seen an auction but it isnt there or completed in the ebay searches.
If you notice CANON in my listing is spelt CANNON!!!
if u type in CANNON like that<< than it will bring up all the spelling mistakes... and just think how other people whould spell the make wrong like: Cannon, Conon, Kanon ECT ECT.....
hope this helps
