That is not really possible. What you think you want forever at age 20 is not the same as what you think you want forever at 40.
Your styles change, fashions change, thinking changes. Part of having tattoos is accepting that. I will admit that I would not have the same tattoos now that I had 20 years ago but it is not something that keeps me up at night!
Hasn't been a great year then really, has it? :/
I dread to think what the pug tat will look like when your skin loses its elasticity.
I think it is bloody awful, sorry.
Another reply the same as Andy's put me off my porridge at breakfast !![]()
I appreciate that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I think some of you have left your common decency somewhere else.
Great likeness from the image and if you're happy with the tattoo then that's all that matters.

The OP posted her new tattoo to share it, not to invite comments about whether she should have had it done, or what it will look like in 40 years. As a piece of body art, I think it's very well done.
I don't like tattoos, so I don't have any, but I've never met anyone with tattoos who's criticised me for not having one.
It is more irritating than pain. Fine for 20 minutes but gets very annoying if doing for any length of time. It also depends on where it is and how close to bone, how fat person is etc,.

It would be extremely rare if someone put up something expecting only positives, and actually got it!![]()
I would say the point of putting it up was to invite feedback.
My missus has 3 tattoos btw, which I think are very nice, nothing major just symbols. One of which, a small black panther, seriously needs a re-ink, like the one posted here, it's very dark and the details have started to 'blend' together, making it a little smudgey.

Regardless of how you feel about tattoos, if I wanted one of my dog I'd be pleased with a result like that.
