DPReview have the same issue. It seems they took the auto WB from the D300 not the D3, at least thats what DPR think. You can see the problem there. Its shockingly bad. I don't like the idea of having to carry a grey card after all these years of not needing one.
They're alwys too yellow.
Ah thats very cool. Ok just to test something I tried a shot with my 10D, 50mm. Same lens as on my D700 but obviously the focal length is different. Both set to auto white balance. Taken in my bedroom with standard indoor lights and the curtains open a bit. 10D had my face as yellow and the area on my face lit from outside as more white. D700, pracitally the same. I think its new cameraitisSeeing problems that aren't there just because its new and its easy to worry over the possible differences.
I'm using CMDR mode with the sb600 sitting on my desk but I'm sure the on cam flash is firing and causing this problem.
