Another update.
Sadly, the woman with Bungle never got back to us. Communication, unfortunately, was poor.
Then..........
........along came Jacob
This was via the RSPCA and, as far as communication is concerned, it has gone from the ridiculous to the sublime.
Sue filled in the online form on Tuesday, the local represenative contacted her on Wednesday and arranged for someone to do a home visit for Friday (this evening). She turned up and basically we spent half an hour swapping kitten stories.
15 minutes later, the local rep phoned to say that she would contact the fosterer to get her to contact us to arrange to see him over the weekend and to take the cat carrier with as, if we like him (as if we wouldn't) we can take him home.

The fosterer phoned 10 minutes later and, all being well, Jacob will be with us Sunday afternoon.
There is a minimum donation of £60 but you get a voucher for neutering and microchipping. Here he is, he's 10 weeks old
Oh, and if you're into omens, when Miki was a kitten, we thought he was a she until we took him for his jabs and the vet pointed out a couple of tiny dots. Turns out, exactly the same happened with Jacob.
