Half the time they come into our lives by accident.
Eat our food and demand affection.
We drop our guard and they step right in.
their lives shorter,so when they depart.
A pain it gives ,a stab to the heart.
Never again,we promise ourself.
Keep my distance this time around.
Just play with you a little bit to keep you quiet.
Today you look cuter than before.
Oh! shoot!,here we go again.........
Been there so many times man.
All our best mate.
So sorry to hear that Marc, poor Miki, what a gorgeous looking cat.
but I've got a feeling she will warm to him quite quickly. TBH, I think she's missed having someone to feel superior to (apart from us of course. Cheers guys, it's gonna be a fun Christmas and boy is Mysti in for a shock!but I've got a feeling she will warm to him quite quickly. Matt, never entered our heads that a rescue might come with issues. Biggest problems can come with some rescue organisations themselves. We went to the Cats' Protection League last time and were told we were out of their area (by 2 miles!!) so they wouldn't be able to come out to do a home check. I even offered to pay their petrol but they just weren't interested.A lot of people do fantastic work but a small minority can make it extremely difficult a times.

Some of the CPL are excellent others are pathetic jobsworths! I did some work for them for free, took about three months to create a database for the vets etc. FOC and never received a word of thanks. Never again
:bang: isn't that infuriating! The one I have started supporting have home checkers and volunteers and foster homes all over the country, despite being here in London - and yes, we have to resist the urge to visit weekly, 2 dogs and 2 cats really SHOULD be enough for anyone
New little bundle looks gorgeous, I expect great pics....oh.... is there a chance of him being with you on Tuesday?![]()
Good on you for having a rescue cat, i work for the cat protection for a few years (cat Catcher) and i no they need all the help they can get, one of mine is from them.

I went into a rescue place to get one or two cats... came out with 3!
Rescue older cats can need a lot of work. Kitten aged ones usually get over things fairly quickly. All mine are rescues and are varying degrees of basket cases![]()
Aw what a cutie! Good luck with the new bungle of fluff! ;-)
;-) you don't miss a trick! He is very cute. I hope you get him soon. Take lots of pics. I lost all but a couple of my kitten pics of my two when an old hard drive packed in
no back ups back then!
That's one name to call them![]()

me too, i went to the RSPCA cat bit a few years ago with a friend. i nearly didnt leave without filling the car with cats..![]()
I'm catless at the mo so Its the stuff of nightmares, I'm out on the town and all I can think of who will feed the bloody cats breakfast. Sorry to hear of your loss. I've never had a cat, but I lost a dog when i was 18 and I still think about him most days. I always wondered if the bond between a person and a cat can be as strong as that between a person and a dog, I guess I'll never know cos I am not really a cat person.

That's absolutely appalling. You'd think that they'd be happy that people were willing to take the animal, considering the alternative is euthanasia.
Anyway, sorry to hear about your kitteh. I lost a dog earlier this year to cancer, and another to old age about one year ago. The loss of a pet is utterly devastating and not understood by those who don't have any. For me, the grief was as strong as any human loss I've experienced.
Thanks Marc. I hope your little ginger furball works out for you.
But.... it's........ it's........ GINGER!![]()
