Girls life saved by a photo...

I dont mean to sound silly, but wouldnt you think they'd have noticed their own daughter's eyes were different colours???

I dont think its that obvious in real life, it only looks bad in the photo, I've seen one of these before, but it was red eye.
One eyes retina reflected red in the photo, the other didn't suggesting there was a problem with one retina.

Seen something like this before, but i think it was a photo of a dog! And as someone said already, in real life you would not notice a subtle change like that, but the flash would amplify an issue on a close up shot.

We only discovered one of our dogs had a cataract because of a photograph. One eye appeared normal the other very milky/cloudy. Cost a fortune at the vets but she's worth it.

Shame the young girl in the article had to lose an eye, but it could have been much worse.

very lucky, im sure ive seen a similar story to that recently

and all the very best to the little girl for a complete recovery from now on .

That was very lucky. And also lucky the eye wasn't photoshopped before they got it.
