LOL... I'm such a sucker!
spotted it on the Gadget Show and the wifes eyes lit up as she's a big reader, orded one from Sony as a pre-order and was delivered on the day of release. She uses it every day.

Canon 300D.... the first DSLR under £1000 with kit lens (which meant I could afford it); in fact i seem to remember all the others were over £2000 in 2003. It has over a 5.5MP sensor, which was deemed to be the acceptable level to compete with film (at the time). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_EOS_300D
In gadget terms, the ipod has changed the way music is both listened to and bought. It may not have been the first, but it is still the one to beat.
Well I got to say the iPhone. , the iPod changed the way we listen to music, the iPod took that and added wireless Internet and a phone , brilliant
So did I but on a Nikon D100.
What a waste of money that was. It never gets used now. I could have bought lots of of cameras I actually want with that much money but at the time I thought it was what I wanted.
Steve.
The fully "functional" lifesize replica of Cheryl Cole (batteries included) that I have on my Christmas list.
