Firstly apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but can't seem to find an answer to my question.
I am looking to purchase swabs 24mm wide to clean the sensor of a Canon 5D m3. I already have the Digipad kit with Eclipse fluid and 17mm pads which I have previously used (very successfully) on a Canon 30D, but I now want to clean the Full frame sensor on the 5D. I believe its possible to use the 17mm swabs but this would entail a double wipe across the sensor and I feel that a 24mm wide swab would be more logical and a better solution.
I can find places to buy these but they are selling for what I call a "RIP OFF" price...especially when you consider what they are made of.
Can anyone recommend a cheap source of these. ?
An American company called Copperhill has the products and can supply a kit which enables you to replace the pad on the spatula once it has been used, which seems to me a very sensible solution but again the price is very high and the product has to come from the USA. I was wondering if anyone has found a UK company able to supply something similar at a sensible price?
