I have a small freezer in the garage where I have started to store film. Went in this morning to find the door ajar, and what amounted to a small iceberg stopping the door shutting. After chiselling a bucket full of ice from the freezer, the door now shuts nicely, but the film in it was pretty much encased in ice. Turns out my wife (who is cackhanded at the best of times) had decided to put some food in the freezer overnight a couple of weeks ago and not shut the door properly:bang:
Question is, will the film be any worse off for this episode, or will I just need to give it more time to defrost when I come to use it to get rid of all the excess moisture? Given the current price of film, I'm a bit loathe to be throwing away £50+ worth.
