You wouldn't know...really like the shot!
The bunny in the pan struck a cord with me Darren.....not sure why yet but I'll come back and tell you if I find out.
Not too long to go now eh?

Love the egg shot! I like the lighting on it a lot.

Little did I know that whilst I was checking on dinner, dinner was checking on me.

Haha, love it!![]()
Darren this thread goes from strength to strength. Be proud of it.
I don't want to pick out individual shots in case you think it's a critisism of the others, but I shall be really disappointed when you get to the big 4 0 next week.
Have you thought of getting the photos made up into a photo book (Blur or similar)? I bet your daughter would love to see her Daddy's photos in print and you could even personalise it to her - a kind of reverse birthday present.
In the meantime, I hope you're feeling better now - even if it does mean back to work on Monday!

Haha I love the dinner shot! You must be getting near the end of your photos by now?
Was in Jessop's the other day and they do a glossy printed hardcover photo book. This post actually came to mind as a nearly perfect set of photos for one, specially as it could be a gift for the 40th.
Hope that makes sense? Probably my favourite set of photos I've seen on this forum so far. Each one is different and look forwards to seeing the rest as I couldn't really even guess what they may be.
Poor wabbit.
Keep up the good work!

Just to clarify what I meant, I meant pushing the pineapple higher up in the frame, thereby filling two-thirds of the frame. That said - it's really not that off-putting - it's a really good photo, and one that I'd be proud of!Thanks for your comments Nigel. I hadn't even considered placement in the frame based on any rules, I just liked it here. I think trying to move it down (or adding extra space above) would leave an image that wasnt' quite so "in your face" (as much as it can be). I'm gonna stick with it and say the middle(ish) of the body is on the intersection of the left and bottom third![]()

What do you mean?? I thought you were starting your 52 then...I shall be glad when thursday comes and I can finally (happily) spend a day not trying to concoct something if I don't feel like it![]()

Wow - have just seen this thread for the first time tonight and I love it!
Only got my DSLR on New Year's Eve and due to the weather and work and everything else I've hardly taken any shots yet so your photos are very inspiring.
I think you should be chuffed to bits at what you've achieved with these photos. I'm just gutted I've only discovered them tonight.
I look forward to the remaining few shots![]()
Really like 'alone in the dark' Darren. Similar to the shot of your palm I think. They're life studies of the human form. Really concentrating the viewers focus on what the human body looks like, without other elements to distract. A bit like some of Man Ray's work.
Just glad I haven't broken the camera yet
