I really don't understand the whole deification of bacon. I haven't eaten it in, um, a good while but IIRC it tastes mainly of salt and crunchiness. I guess lots of people would like that but I'm baffled by the whole "everything is better with bacon" thing.

They may have 'invented' bacon jam in the UK, but it's been on the shelves across the pond for years now. Nothing new here!
