Manchester united for me and i do try to get to the games too. As a second cheaper option i also go to a few Doncaster Rovers matches too. You do have to for your local team.

Football chat? No need for it as there is only one football team in UK.
ARSENAL!!!!!Ok lets call it Arsenal Chat?!

Could be dark horses this year ?
yeah arsenal have been very impressive, got to admire what wenger has done at the club. i thiink its chelsea's title this year though.
I'm shocked.sheep sha.....
To quote some old fella off the tele, you won't win anything with kids!
Shaun
- I'm not fussed who does as long as it's not Liverpool.
I couldn't cope with them getting a 19th title after finally catching up with their 18
I think when you are 25 you are not a kid anymore. Do you remember before last world cup all the talking in media about proper age of English players, and how you were going to win it because of that? well i do. On avarage English players were 26 at that time, same age as Arsenal, but still people talk about them as about kids.
Chelsea will lose few players to African cup, plus thay will have more difficult time at spring, Liverpool ........is rubbish, Man U is not the same this season, so i believe it will be Arsenal this year!!!

chelsea will loose players but they can replace those in the january window due to their transfer ban being postponed

is that the same mighty saints that just lost 3-1 to brighton?![]()
I have been a Man City supporter for 39 of my 43 years. What is really frightening is that I have actually gone to games for that long and had a season ticket now for over 25 years. I grew up within spitting distance of the old Maine Road and despite studying and living in East Yorkshire for 8 years in the 90's never missed a home game. Now living in Liverpool and still going strong.
Louise my partner began life as a Liverpool supporter. Even has a photo of her lifting the European Cup. I ground her down and she has now been a season ticket holder at City for 6 years. She has blossomed into a fanatic and can sing Blue Moon with the best of them.
I have never had any grief about being a Blue whilst living in Liverpool. So long as I wasn't a Utd supporter all was good. That has changed this last year with 'God's Own Football Team' having an influx of cash. All of a sudden other supporters are getting twitchy!
We appear to have a good chairman who has made changes to lots of things within the club that won't be apparent to most people. Great website now, season tickets went down in price this year, listened to the supporters about the kit and went back to a proper City kit that was the proper colour and more traditional, better facilities at the stadium, training complex updated, City's fabulous academy retained and improved, etc. Most people are griping about the cash spent on players as that is all they see. Utd and Chelsea have been spending for years. This owner will be around for a while I think.
Most City supporters are realistic and despite the hype in the press the Chairman has set a target for this year of sixth. Anything else will be a bonus that we will greatly accept.
10 years ago this year I was sat at Wembley with my head in my hands as City were being beaten by Gillingham in the 1st Division play off (that's the old 3rd division to them that are old enough to remember). 2 - 0 down with 2 mins to go. 2 - 1 after 90 mins and a lovely Ref called Mark Halsey added 5 minutes of stoppage time on. Paul Dickov equalised. City won on penalties and the rest is history. We were getting 30,000 crowds even then. I reckon we deserve a bit of success.
Mark Halsey is currently suffering with cancer and is receiving treatment. Apart from being a very nice man he also seems to Referee with a smile on his face and can talk to the players. Wishing him a speedy recovery and hopefully he will be back Refereeing in the PL soon.

What do the liverpool and everton fans think to sharing a ground? is the rivalry to great?
inter milan and ac milan ground share and they have one of the most fiercest rivalries in football so there is the potential there i think. and with a big stadium liverpool would probably be selected as one of the cities to host matches in the world cup (if we get it)
Donnies manager is the cousin or our manager in the West Midland league and he has been down a few times, nice bloke
I've got a few Liverpool friends and from what I can gather the majority of 'both' team's fans are aginst it.
Might be the heart ruling the head though ??
