if it were me I'd like my money back and may be a voucher by way of an apology for the inconvenience ( direct line made a mistake with my car insurance, realised and sent me a cheque for twenty quid by way of apology before I'd even realised there was an error ! - that's what good customer service from a big company should look like)

Indeed it does and it makes TP what it is today (y)

(BUT there is no harm in keeping tabs on the trouble makers though, especially the self confessed ones :D)

Thought that was the point of facebook, for complaining about everything even your friends but not naming them and taking photos of the food your about to eat....even the halal meat lol

I would actually agree with Lynton, Tesco (and ASDA, contrary to what an ex-employee who posted earlier think) has an Exec Office resolutions team that handle complaints arriving for the CEO.

I got a £50 voucher from Tesco recently after buying a mislabelled pie (should have been vegetarian and was chicken curry), the shop staff fobbed us off with a "sorry" and the offer of a refund, the CEO's office offered a "sorry" and £50.

In my case, yes, the pie was bought for a vegetarian and was marked as safe for them, the ineptitude of the staff member and the vegetarian being rather unhappy at a mouthful of chicken deserved compensation (especially when the ignorant idiot at the customer service desk couldn't see the problem beyond offering a refund).

If the useless shop staff don't do their job properly they deserve to face censure and retraining as well, something only the head office will implement.
