Easiest way to get money back from supermarkets for mouldy in-date produce?
Take a picture (include the bar code of the package, and (for fresh stuff) get the bit on the front that says where it was grown, by whom, batch number etc.
Attach to polite email to supermarket customer services, job jobbed. You'll almost certainly get vouchers or some other recompense.
Done it a few times, with Sainsbury's and Asda.

Update.
I got it sorted. After talking to tesco I had found that I could apparently return it to any tesco store, so I went to the local one. Got there and they said they couldn't sort it out because they didn't have the fresh pizza counter thing. So then I had to travel to the other side of town to take it to the larger store. I did so and then after a small discussion and a kind of lengthy wait the deli/counter food manager came and sorted it out. I got my £3.70 back along with a £10 deduction on my bill (And some free fruit because I had to go to the customer service desk to check out and they don't have scales! I wish I carted more fruit now!)
Kind of wish I had asked for more, but at the end of the day at least I got more than I bargained for!
