So, Im looking into broadening my skills and branching into portrait photography. Its a whole new world!
Coming from a sports (specifically Boxing) background, I never use flash as its all about low light for me at ringside. I do have a Jessops 360AFD I throw onto the camera to get shots of the typical boxer pose at the end of each bout but thats it.
I need to get some gym portraits done of the boxers promotional pieces ASAP, and Ive also been asked to take some portrait shots at a black tie event coming up in a few months.
From my understanding, I will be best place to use flash kits rather than continuous lighting. Budget is only around £200 at the moment. I have slightly more but I also need to get a backdrop too, so £200 on the lights is the top end really.
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Cheers.
