Why would anyone else want to report it, you don't know where it is for a start

And then there is the exif information, the IP address you posted from, and the image location analyser tools based on the image itself. Lots of open source intelligence source ;)

Failing that I could tickle you to confess :p

:) you are on. I accept the invitation. Now I finally understand what this thread was about. It's a culdesac isn't it :)

My husband and I actually discussed Maestros recently as it's not a car you see anymore. There surely can't be many left but if there are they will be red, maybe the odd white one.

The MG turbos were rapid for their time. Couldn't go round a corner though!

I had an MG Maestro....My first car.
It was blue :-)
It was probably a pile of poo, but I luuuurved it

That's not a flash on your cam phone, its a collapsed star, if you're under the cover of darkness :D

?????? I let the phone use a high ISO to avoid the flash hence the crap picture it wasn't totally dark

Thanks to another site have now found that amazingly the car is legit even with that partially obscured plate, MOT January 2016 and taxed.

So in reality it's the driver who needs to be in the scrap yard ,mind you looking at the pics it appears the neighbours don't leave much room for him to get into ,and having lived in a cul de sac before I know that the fight for a parking space outside your house can often turn nasty

But when I first saw it there wasn't a car behind it, that arrived later and in all fairness you can't see it from the angle of that shot but there is a fair bit of room.
The black car is actually over the yellow lines slightly, obviously like me when I came home, worried about what will happen if he tries to get out.
You have ti walk wherever you park, mine is round the back of the estate atm, but he has been known to drive up a narrow bit, park like that with the front in a hedge,
preventing anyone from getting in or out, not the most approachable of people when someone asked him to move it apparently.

No bad going in a few posts, he can't park, so
1) he's one of the great train robbery robbers
or
2) He's running a "ring"

Jeeze I hope you or I never get called for jury service :D
Sorry - missed out - was watching my Fav film

Looks like a dead end to me, so a few passing people may see it.
But as its on the internet it maybe viewed by 1000's looking to clone a plate. What better source of legal number plates, without leaving the comfort of your own home? ;)
I never understand this. Really, an obscure photo on a really busy website like TP. More likely to use autotrader, or just clone a plate seen in the locality.

Well one comment that came out on my thread after I found my plates had been cloned was, they don't always clone the same make and model ;)
And in my case colour

I've been cloned twice, both onto different vehicles. Didn't cause me any issue other than to point out they were different vehicles. None were any of my cars which are all over the internet with number plates showing.

There's a reason for that - they were terrible cars

Interesting site (y)
Not terribly accurate though.

A forum for one of the vehicles I own has a topic on it where examples owned by forum members are listed. The total on the list is something like eight times the number that that site says are left for that vehicle, and obviously the list won't include every one that's still around.

Would the list include the ones that are on sorn?

It wasn't specifically that one I was referring too,
but there are a lot of high value cars posted on here, usually with the number showing,
besides the criminals are not always local my "twin" was 180 miles away.

ah the old tape over a letter in the reg so when he trips a fixed speed cam or red light cam? lol this young man was not showing his plate never fear the cops were on to him lol

My guess is that subsequent to passing the test in January of this year, the plate has become damaged and the owner has made a temporary repair. If a number plate cannot clearly be read by the tester then the car will be refused a test certificate. The MOT test is a legal requirement to have a vehicle on the public highway of a certain age subject to an annual roadworthiness check and is no guarantee that the aforesaid vehicle will remain in a roadworthy state for the duration of the certificate
