Reflected glory is associating yourself with someone else's success. Gives us more ways of interpretation that "a reflection", innit.

Personally, I'm waiting to copy what @Andysnap makes pictures of in the lakes and then make them mine by making them slightly out of focus and underexposed..H'mm Anyway who is going to post a shot first for this interpretation for some ideas.....but I'm sure a shot that I'll enter might have been copied by someone who was a "great success".![]()

Well I thought a challenge was to go out and think for ourselves i.e. our own ideas.......So are we supposed to choose a well know photographer and try and emulate his\her shots...well I'm sure someone well known as taken pictures of a boat on a canal and it's my idea for the challenge.

Brian, you take everything so literally. :banghead: You can interpret the challenge any way you want, if you want to copy another photographer do so, if you want to take a lovely shot of canal boats reflected in the water do so, if you want to take a picture of yourself posing coyly in a mirror do so....oh dear, I shouldn't have written that bit.![]()
Blessed are the cheesemakers.
Well Andy I was thinking of a shot for a challenge that you chose...but why didn't you say "Anything goes" for the challenge title![]()
Right, I'm not explaining it any more, you have to make your decision and enter or not with a shot you feel fits. The voters will decide......

Thats a good idea, fingers crossed I get to chose the next themewell it couldnt of been worse, it could of been a "fine art" round
What about "something dead"...the mice are back in my greenhouse chewing up tomatoes and leaks...and am on safari with mouse traps![]()

Hmm ... I have been wondering what to do with that prostitute's body I had to hide in the garage![]()

I agree with you Brian and I do have stacks of suitable shots in my library but they're all old shots and not shot for this challenge, I had hoped that there would have been something suitable from the Lake District meet but unfortunately they came out like thisCome on Nick you can produce some winning shots...think laterally on the word "reflected" a clue was in the link I gave...all you need is some VG event in the past and would be classed IMO as "reflected Glory".![]()

Blessed are the cheesemakers.
Two weeks ago is fine IMHO.forgot it's for new shots
but for anyone else any shot of an event say two weeks ago would loosely do as reflected glory........ well IMO.
