So what are your faves? Mine are definitely "trad". Probably go for:

Apple Pie and custard
Bread and Butter pudding
Spotted Dick
Bread Pudding
Christmas pudding.

cinnamon with the apple choices obviously.

However I hardly ever eat those puddings, the pud I eat most often is without doubt hazelnut yoghurt. (I discovered Rachel's apple and cinnamon yoghurt over the weekend though so that may change...)

Suggested max of 5 shall we say?

Fill yer boots.

Don't forget jam role poly with custard

I'd replace your christmas pud :puke: with it :)

So, my 5 at the moment, think I'd have

Apple Pie and custard
Bread and Butter pudding
Spotted Dick
Jam Roly Poly
Sticky toffee pudding (with dates preferably)

Apple & Blackberry crumble with custard
Sticky toffee pudding with custard
Lemon Meringue pie with vanilla ice-cream

Not a particular fan of puddings per se, but there are one or two lovely exceptions:

@DorsetDude Congrats on finding Rachel's apple & cinnamon yoghurt. The strawberry or the rhubarb are also delish...(others too).
I do like a nice Lemon Meringue Pie.
Really decent vanilla ice cream.
Home made rice pudding, but only home made.

Sticky toffee pudding with thick cream
Bread and butter pudding with custard
Pecan pie
New york style cheesecake, (especially because I can make a low carb version, that tastes just as good)
A nice thick and creamy rice pudding

Apple pie and crumble, Rhubarb pie, crumble and stewed All made by my own fair hands since my wife's illness. Cinnamon with all.

stick toffee pud
golden syrup pud
bakewell
trifle
scones and clotted cream

Yorkshire pudding on a bed of roast beef etc. and filled with gravy and a touch of horseradish sauce.

OR, drizzled with golden syrup and filled with a scoop of ice cream.

More usually though, an Activia yoghurt. Love the Rachel's and similar ones but the Activia ones are a healthier portion size! Most Thursday nights we treat ourselves to a Gü chocolate and vanilla cheesecake as long as they've been on offer in the supermarket.

Absolute favourite is a Delia recipe for chocolate torte but with a couple of refinements. Problem with that is that it makes 10 portions...

Hence my expanded waistline! (Actually, it freezes very well so can be made to last for a few months. CAN be but rarely is!)

Mmmmmmm . . .

In order of preference :

> Raspberry Pavlova
> Stuffed baked apples with vanilla icecream
> Homemade pineapple upside down pudding (I think Tim has been reading my mind, but I always add some shredded coconut into the sponge mixture)
> Belgian chocolate cheesecake with whipped cream
> Just a simple lemon sorbet

This reminds me of school!

I've never made it. In fact i forgot all about it. Is the sponge a standard Victoria sponge mix?
Yes it is Rob. I substitute the brown sugar topping for a fairly liberal quantity of golden syrup and cook the cake so that it's slightly 'burnt' as it gives a more chewy, heavier texture. The combination of warm cake, g.syrup and (tinned) pineapple is superb.

Jam roly poly

Apple and blackberry crumble

Birds trifle!!! Now I am an accomplished cook but have managed to get this wrong 2 times in a row!

Pannacotta

Not sure on the next, sticky toffee pud or cheescake depending on season

Eton Mess
Posset
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Tarte Tatin
Crumble

Tiramisu

I'm in Italy at the moment and I'm living on the stuff. Italians are supposed to have a healthy diet I'm told.

All of it.

Although not a massive sweet fan, I guess a quality Christmas pud (soaked with brandy) + brandy sauce.
I also really like rhubarb & goosebob crumble with custard, or if there's any left the day after, with ice cream.

Oh, and while hot custard is fine, preference is for steaming hot crumble with custard out the tin, cold.

I enjoy savoury more than sweet, so not a pudding fan in general, but do have a couple I would order.

My list of 5 are:

Apple Pie and custard
Bread and Butter pudding and custard
Bread and Butter pudding and custard
Bread and Butter pudding and custard
Bread and Butter pudding and custard

Oh, and did I mention I like Bread and Butter pudding and custard:)

Apple pie, sticky toffee pudding, ice cream, jam roly poly [mum used to cook it; I wonder if I would still like it?]... a Baileys on ice...

Sfogliatelle
Tiramisu
Apple or Rhubarb crumble with custard
Any cheesecake.
