Been thinking a bit more and have decided that the dessert I enjoy most is gelato, although it has to be from a particular gelateria - can't remember the shop's name but know it's beside the bus stop from where we get the bus back to our accommodation in Chania, Crete! A small tub is enough to top off our dinner and helps pass the time while we're waiting for the next bus, having almost invariably just missed the previous one because we've been in the gelateria!

Creme brûlée
Cranachin
Rumbaba, but not seen one in a long time
Erin mess
Glayva

Bread and butter pudding... With cream:love::love:
Pecan pie and cream
Raspberry pavlova
Sticky toffee pudding and custard

And probably any other dessert on the planet :D

M&S do one at Christmas - and occasionally Morrisons do one - not that I scan the shelves for delicious lemony loveliness!!! ;)

Will try that, and get my bottle of Limoncello out of the freezer :)

Apple crumble
Rhubarb crumble
Rice pudding
Chocolate ice cream
Strawberries and cream
Chocolate cake
Nearly anything with sugar in it.

Cheesecake for me all the way.

Reading some of the replies reckon the list should be 10 items, so many to eat, so little time.

Never been fond of puddings, and I don't eat them. Fruit and/or cheese is fine.

Please can you list the ingredients and possibly how to make.
I doubt the bakery will want to part with their recipe! Google should throw up some results though.

Edit - it's basically rice pudding inside sweet puff pastry.

We don't often have desserts, but here are my favourites:

Blackberry and apple crumble with custard or vanilla ice cream.
Bread and butter pudding with custard.
Baked Jewish lemon and sultana cheesecake - yum yum!
Apricot tarte tatin.
Black cherry frangipan tart with vanilla ice cream.

Hell yes.
My local cafe is Italian and they have these with the morning pastries. Heaven.
Had to google that, never heard of it before, it looks delicious. Damn my low carb diet.

There's a recipe here, though it's not for the faint hearted, i consider myself a decent cook but would not attempt making them.

Yeah, let someone else do the hard work (and rustle up a flat white at the same time).
I'd go back for another one this afternoon (*), but I had the last one this morning.

(*) Unemployment must have some perks, right? :D

Too much trouble for me. I have got an idea from it though. Experiment time:)

Do they deliver? ;)

Do they deliver? ;)
No, but the kitchen is huge (and has windows so you can watch them at work) and they make cakes for cafes etc. There might be one near you...

Bread and butter pud and cream
Treacle tart and cream
