Farcebook - anyone else. . .

I realise your point wasnt a joke but I think Bleo's was - it looked to me like he deliberately mispelled "my" as a kind of joke to say his spelling was fine when in fact it wasn't.

At least that's how it came across to me

Take this as a final warning before the gardening leave gets handed out.

I think he means Pinterest ;)

Doh this is when a face palm smiley would come in handy

I confused myself (which isnt hard ) because we use pinster -http://www.pinster.me/ as an analytics tool to guide/guage our success with pinterest

Its basically like hootsuite but built with Pintrest in mind

Last time I checked my bookings record 12 have come from Facebook. All full day wedding packages. They go to my website and book most of the time that way. Few message me direct.

I get venues to put up some of my work and even link to my blogs.

I have had a couple just recently ask me to pencil in a date until they get paid and can get the deposit together. How did they hear of me? They have liked the Facebook page of the venue they are getting married at that venue linked to a gallery on my blog. The same has happened before.

So, it's an easy and effective tool for me. If you don't like it or get it then fine. I hope all my local competitors feel that way!

I'm not a fan of FB, but as I'm not running a business and not interested in what 'friends' are eating I don't need to be.

But it seems to me that all businesses would surely benefit from having a presence on FB, twitter and other SM sites as they emerge.

SM is not going away, and successful businesses should keep abreast of current communication trends and marketing opportunities.

Surely it doesn't take much time to update a FB page or make a tweet? So what's the problem in doing so?
