I thought I'd mention it on here as it may save others the stress. If you have your mobile number logged on your Facebook account I'd recommend you remove it unless you want to have text code issues if you need to do a security check in the future.
Having recently been suspended from Facebook because I'd allegedly posted a photo that did met their rules I've had my account suspended with permanent disabled in 30 days unless I lodged a review appeal. Its very likely the cause is that I've either been hacked or the scammers I had a falling out with a few days before decided to maliciously report a post of mine. The problem is for the last 7 days I've been trying to appeal but could get passed the SMS text code security check part as although Facebook sent me the text an error message appeared to say the text couldn't be sent. This meant the code box never appeared to enter the code I'd been sent. The worst is after trying to send it a few times it locks you out for 24 hours before you can try again (say you try after 23 hrs you then have to wait another 24 hrs before you can try again so 47hrs wait). From several hours of search the web it seems to be a common issue faced by many people. Many have lost access permanently to Facebook due to being hacked and not being able to submit an appeal due to this text code issue.
I've managed to finally work out how to get around the text code issue by removing my mobile phone number (which was a main to get to anyway), and I've now submitted the review appeal. Hopefully the appeal will be successful as I've lost access to my personal Facebook account, Facebook photography page, instagram account and Facebook messenger which its a pain with many years tied up in all of it. Its surprising how much anxiety it causes when you work out how much you rely on Facebook programs to keep in touch with some people or think about the years you've put into a Facebook page or instagram.
