The End of the Trilogy

Just finished watching the Lord of the Rings Trilogy on DVD. Still as fresh as the
first four times I watched it! :geek: Still, took me most of the week to get through it! :D

:geek: indeed Marc, but I have to say, I'm in the same boat. Have you ever watched them back to back?? Take a day off from everything and treat yourself.

I have JD. I originally bought the Theatrical releases as they came out (I still have them) and watched them all back to back. I then bought the Extended versions and did the same thing. Unfortunately, I have been suffering from a fair bit of fatigue this past week and have had to watch them in 45 minute to 1 hour chunks. Hopefully the next time I will be able to do it in a day.

Excellent lighting on the Tulip shot Marc

I really must sit down and watch LOTR and Harry Potter some day. I got them on DVD as and when they came out, but just dont seem to be able to find the time to sit down and commit!

Thanks Chris. The LotR extended versions are one hell of a commitment as well. ;)

Peace Pagoda

It was our evening out in Milton Keynes with camera club tonight. Three of us
ended up at Willen Lake and the Peace Pagoda. The weather was lovely but
the sun was in the wrong place and there was no light on the pagoda itself, so
I made my own! :D Then we all met up in the pub!

Bloody Annoyed!!! :annoyed:

Had a phone call from an agency on Wednesday about a possible temping
role starting next week, comparing invoices to a spreadsheet. Pretty
mundane stuff but better than nothing I get told they will call me back to
confirm on Thursday. I get no phone call so I phone them tyo be told that
they were still waiting for a call from the client and would call me back
tomorrow morning (Today). I then get a call this morning saying that the
client wants to know if I have Sage Line 50 experience. I say no and they
say "OK, it might not be essential so I'll speak to them again and call you
back". Have I had a call back? Have I b******s! the job is due to start on
Tuesday morning so not much chance now really and they haven't even
called me to let me know and I'm certainly not calling them again!

OK, rant over. Gonna have beers tonight!
