Day 84

City Scrum

Was in the City of London today, photographing the City Scrum Touch Rugby
Championships. This is an annual tournament in association with Harlequins
Rugby Club where the Harlequins player coach and play with the city workers. A
good time was had by all and a very enjoyable day for me.

This evening was a frustrating time at camera club as it was competition night
and two of my entries received very poor marks despite comments to the
contrary by the judge. :shrug:​

Day 85

Slideshow

Have spend a fair bit of time over the last few weeks putting together a
slideshow from my London street shots. Burned it to DVD today and I'm quite
pleased with it so far. I just need to work out how to create a version which I
can upload to the web so I can torture.......Er, I mean let you guys enjoy it. ​

I'm really struggling for inspiration with this now. I'm going to keep going but I'm
nowhere near as confident about completing this as I was. :shrug:​

Oh for flipping heck's sake! :annoyed:

Got a phone call from Sue this morning to say that someone had driven into the
back of her car. Turns out that not only did she not look where she was going,
but was also in the wrong lane! :bang: Fortunately the insurance company
were very good and, as the whole thing was being handled by the other drivers
insurance company, we won't have to pay any excess. Could have done
without the aggro though.​

Exactly. Suppose we should be grateful that no-one was hurt and she can still drive it. The last time this happened our car was a write off.

I've found that animals take a lot of patience to photograph, I could take about 50 of Sasha and only get a couple of keepers.

Yep, a 2002 Civic 1.6 VTech 3-door. Was my pride and joy until I was no longer able to drive a Manual, so I gave it to Sue and it torments me every time I see it on the drive!

I get very few keepers with the cats, a lot more with horses.
