Fabs' 365 for 2009.....Fin

Day 26

Day26.jpg

On the Sofa

A change of scenery for today's self portrait, out of the office and into the
lounge (well you didn't think you were going to get away without seeing my
ugly mug for a fourth day did you?)

Not the best of days today, have been suffering from fatigue for most of it and
it's made it very difficult for me to function. Feel like I want to sleep, but
can't go to sleep. Hopefully this will get better as the week goes on.

On the job front:

Positive: An agency has contacted me with a position that sounds quite promising. :)
Negative: Received an email from another agency telling me that a position I
applied for 2 weeks ago has been filled. :(

Ah well, we soldier on.

Not the after effects of haggis and scotch then? :D

Tomorrow will be a better day :)

Ahh, you see, he thought we had forgotten about the whisky lol.

Good luck with job hunting Marc. Excellent 365.

I'm going to work through the 365's later tomorrow with a nice glass of wine or two. This afternoon is for my 52 catch ups but I had a peek at a couple of yours and I'm liking what I'm seeing :thumbs::thumbs:

Nice photo. Hope you're feeling better today.

Thanks Kitten. A little better today.

Another good sp Marc. I must get some tips off you!

Thanks Dave. I don't know about tips, I'm still learning myself.

Thanks Kel. You're doing a sterling job doing those catch ups!

Does it show then :D I'm knackered now - I didn't realise how many of them there were

Just caught up with this again Marc and I love the pictures. Fatigue is a bugg er and strikes for no particular reason. I had a Spanish lesson yesterday for a couple of hours then slept until lunchtime today :(. I've booked for the TP convention so I'll get to see you and also be able to put faces to names that have been so kind and helpful to me on here :D.

Goog luck with the job hunting

Day 27

Day27.jpg

Split

Had one of those days today. This morning I was awake and alert, this
afternoon has been a bit of return to form, feeling extremely sluggish and
suffering a bit with leg spasms. Have found it hard to be comfortable.

No news on the job front today. Had a look though all the usual sites and only
found two jobs that weren't there a week ago.

On a brighter note, the owner of the livery yard called me today to ask if she
could give someone my number as they are after some shots of their dog.
She showed them some I did of her Jack Russell before Christmas and she
was apparently impressed. So something good from today.

Thanks Jill. So pleased you have booked for the convention, looking forward to meeting you.

:lol: give it time, we're only 4 weeks in, I've nearly given up already :lol::lol::lol:

I like your latest picture. I'm wondering what it would be like to have one side sad and one side happy as you have had some good news?

I won't hear defeatist talk like that. :nono: Now get on with "surprise"! ;)

Yeah did think of that, but I did it from one photo so couldn't think of a way to do both expressions at the same time. :D

 ha ha ha - not doing my surprise photo yet

Can you not do another photo, cut that i half like you have done with that one and have the two different halves?

Great shot there marc, I should really learn how to do these borders etc. they really can add to an image.

Sean

Using cs4 Marc still trying to find my way around it though the layout seems to be different to cs3 and I wasn't good with that either

ooo i like that idea of the split one, i also wish i knew how to do fancy borders/different sectons

I use Elements 5 and there's a functionality in there to create a photo layout which is really simple to use, I also used it for my tryptich entry. Don't know whether CS4 has the same but I would think so.

Thanks Liss. Neither did I until quite recently, just had a play and learnt that way.

Marc, brilliant set of images on your 365. Good luck with getting the job sorted, sorry I can't drop in more regularly there's so much to TP and not enough time...

Thanks John. I'm also struggling to keep up at the moment. TP seems to have exploded in the last couple of months!

Fabs, just caught up again, and looking good still, I like the 2 sided image, but think a bigger difference in the facial expression was needed, it will need to be 2 shots for that though

Thanks Simon. Yes, I will have to have another go at some point using two separate images. Was just trying to go with the dark and light sides with this one.
