Real racing fans dont bother with any of that F1 pish or Americans going predominantly round in circles.
Real racing fans watch 6 ton behemoths tearing up the track and each other or V8 supercars ride bumper to bumper
Joking aside i lost interest in F1 years ago, i personally find it as dull as dishwater
Very true, f1 is a struggle to watch sometimes.
I've been getting into Formula E over the last few races, the racing is really good.
Indycars is fantastic, I would highly recommend watching the 2015 season if you don't already. A lot more to it than the ovals.

The DW12 is ugly (although I like the super speedway kit) but the racing is superb and I like the fact you don't really know who'll win.For years now ovals have been the minority. I've watched Indy Cars since the 90s. Trouble with the series these days is that the DW12 is so bloody ugly to look at!
The 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix could start earlier than originally scheduled because of Jules Bianchi's serious crash in Japan last year.
Bianchi suffered a serious brain injury when he crashed under yellow flags in heavy rain and fading light in Japan last October - a race which had started under the safety car due to torrential weather. The FIA set up an accident panel in the wake of his crash which suggested a new four-hour rule, which would ensure a day race would not start within four hours of dusk or sunset.
The late afternoon start has caused the Malaysia race to be hit with heavy downpours before, notably the 2009 race which had to be red flagged before 75% race distance, leading to half points being awarded. Malaysia is currently scheduled to start at 1600 local time this year but circuit boss Razlan Razali says Bernie Ecclestone is happy to make a change even though the four-hour recommendation is not written into the regulations.

New Williams breaks cover
http://www.crash.net/f1/news/213041...tm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss
Force India unveiled a striking new colour scheme as it launched the VJM08 on Wednesday, which it hopes can challenge for podiums with regularity in 2015.
The car was officially unveiled by Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg at an event in Mexico City as the team released promotional pictures to the media. The new colour scheme is predominantly silver and black, with shades of orange, making it the second year Force India has chosen a dark livery.
During the launch the team said new features included a revised rear suspension lay-out and modified sculpting of the sidepods. Of note was the VJM08's wider nose, a contrast to the images of the Williams FW28, released earlier on Wednesday.
The new car will not debut until the second winter test, with Force India set to run its 2014 car at the Jerez test which begins on February 1. Team boss Vijay Mallya said he hopes the VJM08 can build on the success of 2014 and help Force India fight with the teams at the front of the grid this season.

Seems to make a mockery of the engine freeze.
Engine manufacturers are allowed to change up to 48 per cent of their power unit for this season, with modifications allowed at any point over the campaign.
Renault says for the first race it has used the majority of the 32 development tokens that it has available, but will save some for updates later in the campaign.
There wasnt an engine freeze they could alter 48% of the unit hence the token systemhttp://www.autosport.com/news/repor...1&spJobID=462514443&spReportId=NDYyNTE0NDQzS0

Bernie may be dead by then and F1 will vanish up its own fundament!
IMO, the regs should address safety while allowing maximum development in terms of power and efficiency. Currently they seem to lay down most of the spec of the power train while allowing a few relatively minor differences in the implementations.
Give 'em all a fixed amount of fuel to cover 200 miles and 3 sets of whatever tyres they want to use to cover the same distance - first past the finish line gets the points.
And we are back to 4 /5 teams playing that is until they decide its an economic downturn and of they go elsewhere and thats when you want the small dedicated teams to raceBut aren't Ferrari the biggest spenders? Cash =/= results. If the small teams can't handle the heat, they're playing in the wrong league - why should the big boys have to "pull their punches" to accommodate those who can't afford to play?
Still not convinced you're seeing the real deal? Well, check out those curves#W06Spy#BackToWork#F1pic.BANNED/F3pWiFfeGN

Thanks, doesn't look hugely different.
Does the overall length change or just the proportions? It is surprising how big they are.
Here's the official staged spy shot from today, better res than the other ones floating around on YT. Does this sound different to last years? Some photos by Merc of their new car on Twitter.
