That will be those itty bitty soft southern midges...

Get down here ...Mostiques with gnashers like JAWS!! :runaway:

Strange how it's only the females that have a vampire side to them:confused::D

Yeah those wasps are probably female too as last week disturbed a ground nesting colony and got stung four times on the inside of my hand one on my arm and another on my back and also one on my stomach....only the hand was painful for about 8 hours and took about 3 days to go away completely.
Apparently wasps inject IIRC five different proteins so can't be treated with stuff at home.....I bet you didn't know that ;)

Don't forget anti midge cream if going near the peak district o_O

Too late for midges (probably) and they're not as venomous or massive as their Scottish cousins anyway.

I've come home from a day's macroing critters with arms like Popeye and a face like Bluto.

As you say...B'stards.

And I've never seen the buggers biting me whether its in the back garden or roaming across fields :(...it wouldn't be so bad if the bite didn't itch for days.

Its the dragons im more scared of

There are very few dragons and they sleep for most of the year. It's the wolves you have to watch out for. :runaway:

Oop North it's the white walkers to watch out for

Personally I'm frightened to death of bumping into frusty and crusty criters as there's no antidote for the infectious GAS that they pass around:runaway:

They are quite easy to avoid though as they stand out from the crowd, usually hunched over, weighted down under a mass of metalic objects, puffing and wheezing whilst attempting to breath with an array of leather straps strangling them:D

Don't quote me but I believe he's been abducted by aliens :runaway:

Not so much the digi mob Bri, more like the mods ....You met @Yv at Whipsnade...........If ever there was an alien ( or is that alienne:p) :exit::ROFLMAO:

(Asha awaits lifetime ban from TP:D:D)

Yv has done her penance as she has used a film camera (IIRC) not so long ago.
Funny tie up between the meet and a tv advert................both use a meter for electricity and the guy on tv is in the middle of a shower when the meter ran out :D h'mm and that bread is taking a long time to toast , wonder if the toaster is still working :D

Last chance to say whether or not I bring the 1942 tripod...

I'm not sure I fully understand this idea people have of packing several days in advance!

Pah, my clothes are still in the wash.

My concern is how much film do I have, where the hell is my tripod and what additional camera if any will take to supplement the RB; the yashica I'm still not sure is sharp/focusing correctly, the xa I can't find, the super Ikonta which has lost a screw in the film transport and I'm not sure if it holds straight, the OM2 that'll take up more room, the baby yash I've still not used or something else I've not considered.

Me neither...I was thinking that perhaps making a start after the weekend would be an easier option:D:D

Now, I'm sure I must have some film here somewhere...
