I had a fault with my nearly new Epson SC-700 when printing documents where the paper would constantly miss-feed. After a long convoluted attempt to speak to Epson I and was told eventually made a contact - in Barcelona! Getting in touch with them is almost as bad as trying to speak to Hermes couriers.
I explained the problem and was told that the service centre would be in touch. True to the word I was contacted by E mail - eventually - but by this time I had sorted out the problem myself. It was not the printer, it was a poorly cut ream of paper and one sheet was dragging another out of line despite being 'fanned out' before filling the feed slot.
I called off 'the dogs', but I have now had 3 more E mails despite telling them I no longer had a problem they cannot understand I no longer need their services. The solution is simple put in a phone line where we can speak to someone to tell them person to person. It is obvious they don't read the E Mail sent to them properly
