I would worry that the process control would be far from consistent, if the lab was running the E6 processor that often.
Maybe the guys at CC Imaging could help enlighten us all. I guess CC are running one of the busiest E6 processing lines currently in the UK. Prehaps they could kindly add a little info of how they run a E6 process line in control daily. A big thank you if they could spare a minute or two to reply.
The Darkroom ...
Their the best mail order prices that I could find including a freepost address and return delivery and with excellent processing quality and a quick (3 - 4 day) service.
Tim Parkin's film comparsion review on his website(under Saltwick Blog) and a couple of films i sent in last year, always put me off from using The Darkroom's service again. The color balance appeared too cyan to my eye, which Mr Parkin's review backed up my own findings. However i read so many good things about them, maybe it was just one of those things at the time.
I think i will send the Darkroom a roll out on Monday morning, i will be interested to see what i get back.
Can you share the results here please? I have only used them as opposed to my local one so would be interested to hear if you still find any differences with Peak.
I've used both and was a confirmed fan of Peak but was driven away when their prices increased. The quality is comparable but The Darkroom are cheaper and quicker, typically if I post a film on a Tuesday it will arrive back on the Thursday.
