Ok so I should have the ITASTE MVP V2.0 turning up today with 3 flavours of liquid 24mg to start off with

I have some clear patches from my last try at giving up

Does the kit come with instructions for setting as it looks to have a lot

Yes Helen you should get a little booklet with it. The iClear tanks are just a case of undoing the top as mentioned and top up with juice, I usually put in just over 2ml at a time so as not to flood the tank. Also after you have screwed the lid back on, it is best to leave it for a good four or five minutes for the liquid to soak right up through the wicks inside before firing it up so to speak :D If you are not sure about anything then just ask in here :thumbs: 24mg eh you like yor nicotine then :lol:
 
I started on 28mg and am now down to 11/12mg :D

If you ordered your liquids from myepack, they'll be dekang - you might like them but, if not (I don't), try not to let it cloud your judgement on e-liquids! Try another brand. Do you have an e-cig shop near you Helen? My local shop lets me go in and try any of the liquids I want to before I buy - might be an idea to find some new ones you like!

It will not be difficult Helen,once you have read the destructions you will be best to set the MVP to wattage which will be the "P" symbol when you cycle through the menu settings. I should imagine the resistance of your iClear tanks will be 2.1ohms. When you are all charged up and ready I would set the wattage to about 6.5 as a starting point. The amount of visible vape, taste and throat hit is dependant on the type of liquid you are using and the nicotine content. Once you have had a couple of draws on it you can decide if you are happy with the taste vapor etc. If you are happy then all well and good, if not then just increase the wattage slightly to say 7.5 or 8 watts, you should notice a subtle difference. I am sure Colin or John will advice you even further if needed.

Ok John, unpacked and on charge, have filled to 2ml, guess it's going to take awhile to charge, so coffee in hand and will read instructions

Looks like it came charged and with your setting :eek: but may be just new ? stronger hit than my cigs so looking good if it holds up over time

This damn thing may just work, I know it's only been an hour but it's the best one I've ever tried, good hit (for now) and don't feel stressed

Finally i am on a roll with finding liquids i really love!

Ltecigs are so good on prices... Lime ball:love: certainly anothe purchase and a 30ml bottle this time, there coconut as well...

VapingKing.. kings custard very yum!

And to top it off just recieved wingnuts from smokeireland's swedish fish finally... and guess what... oredered 10ml but they sent 30ml!...woohoo i shall keep zipped lol

Can't wait to try it but it's just typical i've just filled both clearos up so i have to wait:rules: lol

You can clean the wicks between flavours but you don't have to - I tend not to bother. I vape sweet liquids and they tend to be fine without cleaning. If I was vaping menthol or coffee or caramel for example and then wanted to vape, say, strawberry then I would clean the wicks. I'm not sure those tastes would mix well! I basically just judge it.. if I think the new flavour will be okay, I don't clean it.

I change the wicks out for new ones every fortnight. You can get replacement wicks from myepack for the iclear 30's for something like £1.75 each.
 
No worries :) I've been vaping wham bar, refresher, hubba bubba, pear drops etc without cleaning the wicks in between. They mix well and it's only a couple of hits before the previous liquid taste is gone :)

Strawberry, however - I can put that in after any liquid, including menthol, and there's no taste of the previous one at all :D I've found strawberry to be very strong tasting. Because of that, it's my back up, "go-to" liquid. It leaves a really nice sticky taste in your mouth too, very much like those strawberry chew sweets or strawberry laces leave.

That is good Helen :thumbs: And remember you can try turning down the power if needed. Toni has advised you regarding the changing of different liquiuds over. I have cleaned a couple of the wicks for the iClear by running through pretty hot water and letting them dry. They should be ok for a week or two, some leave it even longer. The problem is those have two very small coils in them and one is situated right inside, unless you use a little ultrasonic bath to clean them then doubtful you will get rid of all the crud off of the coils. I just bought another box of 6 which should last me a while now. I have just done another custard mix :love: It smells very much of Vanilla Custard at the moment in my kitchen :lol:

Vanilla Custard 17%
French Vanilla 5%
Dulce de leche 2%
Egg Nog 3%

Well things look to be going very well so far, I think the 24mg is to strong, only need a couple of vaps and I'm good and not in need for a cig

Getting strong hits so turned it down to 6 volts, the lowest

Had some food which is when I normal want a cig after, the vap is taking care of that for now

I thought I would be vaping a lot but surprised I'm not

I'm shocked at how much better this is than the ecigs that looked like cigs but were useless I had tried before, this is on a different planet


I think I'll just order new wicks, they are fairly cheap

I actually quit with skycigs. It was a good few months before I moved onto an ego kit and only did so because I wanted to try the different flavours! And, after that, got my SVD kit :) My mum quit with skycig too, we both really rated them, they're just expensive in comparison. The type you can buy over the counter in the likes of tesco were absolute rubbish though.

I tried the The Electronic Cigarette Company complete waste of money, they maybe better now
 
I've never tried that one. It was nearly a year ago for me and over a year ago for my mum with the skycig. My cousins uses them now though and still rates them. Although they weren't advertised as nicotine replacement back when I used them and stated numerous times around the site that they'd heavily advise against using them as so :lol:

Glad to see you are all settled in Helen, I did wonder about your nic strength earlier but not knowing how many a day you smoked or what strength I thought I would keep my nose out :lol: As you are probably aware you can get liquids at different strengths, so just a case of reducing it untill you are happy. Try and get into the habit of drinking a bit of water ocassionaly as vaping can make you feel hydrated sometimes depending on how much you do.
 
I didn't find the nicotine strength correlated with actual strength of the liquid if you know what I mean? For me, it just correlated with the taste. High nic = stronger taste. I get the same throat hit now on 11/12mg as I did with 28mg.

Well today had gone far better than I thought, still early days and all, couple of miss and hits on the vaping but I guess that will sort it's self as I get use to doing it

Next test is tomorrow morning but as it's a bigger hit than what my cigs were, hoping it's going to be ok

It's not a lady like device but have ordered some colour covers, were cheaper on myepack 12 for £6.99 different colours

Ps only thing is it's a bit dodgy standing up as switch sticks out, need a holder :shrug:

Fixed the switch problem on my MVP with some firm pressing. Now sits flush. A risk I was willing to take but up to you how much it bothers you.

The Cherry is very weak so won't be getting that again
Not tried the Raspberry yet but if it's the same as the Cherry :(
