Well it looks like I shall be keeping my eyes peeled for an Igo then :thumbs: I have just noticed your SVD in 18350 mode Colin, is that how you usually have it set up? I just wacked the two of them in when I got mine :lol: Does it make any odds stacking the two of them? Just waiting on my charger to come so that I can charge up my 650`s. I can see why you lads like the Igo, it does look like a nipple :D

Does the manual say you can stack 18350's? I know the Vamo can, but I've heard it described as a crazy design from a battery safety perspective (by someone who understands these things far more than I do).
 
It's in 18350 mode but no battery in it. I only have 650's and even they don't last me a day. I've only been using the mvp2 since it arrived.

And this John is exactly what I just realised. When I sent the V4 back and replaced it with the SVD, Ash said for me to keep the two 350`s and charger as the SVD did not come with batteries or charger. In the excitement of it all I got mixed up with the info saying it uses two 350`s or a 650. Checking the product description now of the SVD there is no mention of it. I think I will use just the one for now. I also noticed Toni looks like she has her`s in extended mode, not sure what she has inside though :shrug:
 
There's a photo of my SVD with a 650 in a couple of pages back if your after a photo :)
 
Mine has the short telescopic tube and a 18650 in that photo. Now changed to the long telescopic tube - I was too excited to put it together to notice the longer one :lol:

If that was aimed at me Ryan then thanks, I know what it looks like extended :gag: I was just unsure if I should have had the two 350`s in together, reading the manual say it will so no worries now. :thumbs: Although it says the long tube is for 2x 350`s or 1x 650 :thinking: Odd because 2x350`s fit using the short tube, oh well I got a spare tube I suppose :D

I am! Well, until now. Just under 2ml left in the tank, no settings changed and got a burnt taste :\

That is odd then, I have had no probs with my iClear. Sorry if I am getting you to repeat yourself again Toni, what liquid have you got in it at the moment, what mix ratio and mg strength, and lastly what power setting are you using?
 
I'm not sure what the mix is but it's dekang's pear, 18mg. Currently 3.9v and 8w. Only happened for 2 or 3 drags and is tasting fine again now!

I think the shorter tube is for 350-500mm batteries.
 
Looks like a Trip Hammer juice is happening soooner!...My son owed me so text me last night asking if i wanted a juice.... Jelly babies by the weekend when he gets here if it's delivered in time.....:banana::banana::banana:

Been vaping away on Dekang's Cubana vape juice today. A nice nutty flavour to it if anyone's into nuts! :)
 
Unfortunately working all day do couldn't go but their rainbow fizz in the post tonight, god it's good :)
 
Just got back from the London vape meet (hic). I won a vision aurora BFT in the UK ecigs raffle. It's a kind of dripper, with a squeezable juice bottle underneath the atty. the idea is that you squeeze the bottle to wet and drain the atty, trying it now and it seems pretty good.

Still here, still vaping :D Just cleaned and refilled both to take away with me, so now, coffee and dark chocolate in one, which is absolutely bloody gorgeous :love:

Just stuck cherry and raspberry together for a sweeter hit in the other and me likey :D

Sorry I couldn't make the meet John, knowing I would be away for two days I was pretty much buried under album designing for the last two days. Sounds like you probably had fun though :thumbs:

Got dekang cotton candy in and it tastes like crap. Really can't tell if it tastes burnt or not... changing the wattage isn't doing much other than reducing or increasing vapour.

Struggling to get used to this SVD! Got it down for sherbet and pear but struggling with this..

edit - dropped the voltage down to 3.3v and the wattage to 5.5w and it's not making such a horrific noise and the taste is a bit better but still... blurgh and no th at all. Will need to print that chart out and carry it around with me :bang:

That may well be the trying different flavours too Toni, I had a cotton candy it was yuk yet I had lemon-blueberry-cotton candy and that was lovely, sweet n fruity yet the plain cotton candy I couldn't even begin to describe
 
Yeah I've had a different brand cotton candy before and didn't enjoy that... tasted off too but still vaguely like the real thing.. was hoping this one might be better!

So that's 2 bottles of stuff I can't use!

Sorry, but you've not got it between VV and VW modes. You can either set the voltage or wattage. You can't, by definition, set both as the device can only be in one mode at a time.

Ignore the voltage mode completely. Set it to the wattage that gives you the best flavour vs vapour and leave it there.

I know, it does put you off trying doesn't it, I'm trying to look in the ukv recommendation section a bit more before I buy now

But changing just the wattage wasn't working. I was getting quite a strong what I feel is a burnt taste and changing just the wattage wasn't making a difference to anything other than vapour. I lowered the voltage whilst lowering the wattage and it took the burning taste away..

Indeed! But I've got it now, it was the one I wanted after reading up on various, so I've got to get used to it now! :lol:

It can only be in either vv or vw mode, not both, so you can't set both. In VV mode it will deliver the set voltage, regardless of the resistance of the atty. In VW mode it will deliver enough volts to achieve the set wattage. Changing one setting affects the other, so there's no point flipping between modes.

Sorry to be a pedant, but its really important to understand it. You can't set volts and watts because setting either will change the other.

You're not being a pedant, I appreciate it because, like I said, I'm struggling a bit. I had changed both via this chart https://store-549f5.mybigcommerce.com/product_images/uploaded_images/voltagechart-lg.jpg if that makes a difference? I don't know.

But with the sherbet and pear liquids, I had it on 4v and 8w and that worked.. so if I changed that to, say, 6w the SVD would automatically change the voltage to something suitable itself? Should I put it back on 4v like before then change just the wattage from there?

Sorry if I'm hitting off a brick wall! I've used an ego-t for nearly 40 weeks, this vw/vv is a big change. :shake:
