You mean it doesn't do it automatically? I pay 1000€ for a camera body and have to change the time manually??!!

That also assumes you ever set the time to start with
there's a time setting?
Well, I wanted some sunrise shots, so I changed the time on mine to 04.50, but the light stayed exactly the same.
I paid a lot of money for this 400D. Total rip off. I'm going to sue Canon.
that also assumes you remembered to change it in october![]()

I think it would be easier if they simply abolished this ridiculous twice yearly clock changing and kept with GMT all year round.
The evenings are already getting nice and bright so I can't see the need for them to suddenly be made brighter.
It would also mean no sudden change to dark evenings in October and we can gradually adjust as nature intended.
Not everyone lives in the UK.

I never change the time on my cameras. I guess that makes me mad, bad, and dangerous to know, and a really serious bad ass to boot?![]()
...Hi
Dont forget to change the time on your alarm clocks![]()
Thanks for the reminderHi

I would remember but I leave all the camera times set to GMT along with the car's clock. saves me loads of time every year and avoids confusion when the government tells us to change the time. I only bother changing clocks and watches at home so I don't miss anything important. Can't find the adjustment buttons on the cat to reset her body-clock, she still demands food whenever she feels like it!that also assumes you remembered to change it in october![]()
Never bother changing mine TBH............![]()

Ditto - Zulu works for me!![]()
