Hi,
A long shot, but worth a try: my friend's car was written off this week in a "fail to stop" when a lorry tried to overtake her on a narrow road near Spalding in Lincolnshire and realised too late that s/he was going too fast to do so successfully.
As the lorry had come up behind them out of nowhere, neither my friend nor her passengers saw the lorry before the accident, but one of them noticed the following afterwards:
Many thanks,
Liz

As the lorry had come up behind them out of nowhere, neither my friend nor her passengers saw the lorry before the accident, but one of them noticed the following afterwards:
The cab was gun metal grey.
It was an articulated lorry with hard sides - but was not transporting a container.
The sides of the lorry were white - they don't remember any writing on it.
The logo on its side was royal blue - imagine an S rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise, then stretch it. Possibly the RHS tail of the logo was thinner than the LHS.
There was nothing on the back doors.
They did not see a number plate.
Many thanks,
Liz
Good luck.
