Just getting started in photography and managed to get a couple of pics that I was happy with so shot off down the local lab and got them printed - happy with results but seemed expensive - pics were of my 3mth old son and as soon as grandparents saw the pics they all wanted a copy so decided to try Snapfish for some cheaper prints, just got them today and very dissapointed with the results - alot darker and more saturated - nowhere near as nice as the labs pics - I suppose what I'm asking is can you get good results at home with a photo printer (if so what ones) or do I have to keep paying high prices locally,or is there an alternative (other online printers etc)
Any help appreciated
