Order placed on 12/12/2012 and still awaiting goods with Digital Navigator company on e-bay

I sent item not delivered via e-bay ( estimated delivery 18-20 december)
Seller's message:
"Dear Bazza, thank you for your message. Very sorry that we couldn't reply your email earlier. Sincerely beg your forgiveness. Actually, we have posted the item on 2012-12-13 19:45:22 from our UK warehouse. But during the Xmas and New Year, it´s the busiest time of the year for the post ofice, it may dealy 2-3 days to arrive. Could you please confirm your shipping address in eBay and PayPal? ( address included but deleted by me) If your address is correct. Item should have been arrived. Would you please go to the local post office to have a check? Maybe the postman has put it there. Or is it possible that someone have received it for you? We will also contact Royal Mail to confirm the status and investigate. Your cooperation and understanding would be appreciated. When there is still no information, pls feel free to contact us. Have a nice weekend!"

I have had no notification that my local post office has my order. For me to get to my local post office means a long journey (at least 2/3 hours) at great expense on possibly a wasted trip. My address is correct and never had similar problems especially within the UK postal system or with world wide orders. To say how disappointed with your delivery service is an understatement and be assured I will never use or recommend your company to anyone. You claim you have posted the item yet cannot provide any proof via a tracking number, so I have serious doubts about your having even sent it. Ok the item value isn't that much accepted but that's not the point, there is no excuse for bad service.
