I am not in any way an expert photographer in fact the opposite, so that's my starting point.
When I retired I purchased a Canon 500D DSLR Kit which soon failed to satisfy me.
I then purchased a used Canon 600D and a EF 70-300mm I: 4.5 - 5.6 IS USM Diffractive Optics.
I have been delighted with both of them and used them for mainly taking wildlife photo's particularly birds photographs.
The photos are for my pleasure only and some times just to confirm the species.
I recently had a gift of money and after much thought purchased the latest Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS II USM zoom lens.
I have used it for a week now and am amazed at how much better it is than the previous 70-300 lens (To be expected I think).
My question is should I part exchange both my cameras for another higher specification camera and will it make a difference.
If the answer is yes exchange them, then what would you recommend as the one to go for.
Money is an issue so any spending would have to be warranted.
