What kind of diet requires you to eat lots of eggs? (Good luck with it tho')

It's the chemical diet. Eggs for breakfast every day, and sometimes for lunch or dinner. Lots of fruit, steak, chicken, fish, salad etc...

It says no replacements so I've kind of failed already :( I couldn't face eggs for breakfast so had fruit instead, hopefully that'll be ok!

Are you excersing? Your metabolism will adapt to the amount you eat, excercise is a good way to boost/change it, its pretty vital to weight loss.

Also write down EVERYTHING that goes into your body, especially include drink. I'm quite into health/diet. (although I have the opposite issue in that I struggle to maintain weight).

Mix the way you have the eggs, do scrambled one day, fried (in olive oil) the next, poached another time.

I see my personal trainer twice a week and get totally beasted lol.

Apparently fried egg doesn't count...:(

Ok good, sometimes its a long term thing - you have to really battle your body/genetics and go to the extreme for results :(

Stick with it.

Tell me about it! At least I gave up smoking though. 9 months this week! Yay!

Eggs bung you up something rotten so don't eat too many! I like eggs but I'm not sure I'd want them every breakfast and possibly lunch on top!

It doesn't really matter what you eat, if you eat fewer calories than you use then you lose weight. Key is to choosing foods that keeps you fuller for longer so you don't get the nibbles. Soup is a good one to choose for lunch.

Don't touch any diet products like diet drinks as they make you fatter!

chemical diet?? sulphur guffs diet would be a better name!

My thought was similar - chemical diet or chemical warfare?

sounds like a high protein diet for body builders

Sort of but protien does nothing without the carbs to back it up, you need double the carbs for all the protien you intake as a 'bodybuilder'.

Carbs are assosiated with weight gain, hence people go for diets which favour protien over carbs.

Sounds a bit Atkins type diet to me.

I can recommend strongly Clarence Court eggs - Burford browns or Old Cotswold Legbar - from Waitrose and I think Morrisons. Really nice tasting orange yolks from free range chickens. Far better than any egg I have tasted.

To make them interesting, try adding choppped chives to scambled egg, tomato and feta to omlettes etc...

That's my point, I admit the use of the term "body building" was not entirely correct but was used in context for the development of muscle strength and endurance

It's worth trying different diets as there is no perfect diet for everyone. I find 2 that work best for me and people I train. A keto diet where you eat only fat and protein. And a diet made up mainly of fruit and veg with stuff like fish and chicken to give enough protein. Also important is to have enough calories as too little and your metabolism drops. It's good to start the day with something hard to break down like lots of veg as its also low in calories. Also very roughly speaking a gram of fiber roughly cancels a gram of crabs. I know its not quite that simple but things like nuts eating in the right proportions are very helpful too.
Oh and eggs are awesome whatever diet you are on and if you use a non stick pan fried ones are fine as u don't need oil.
